This is just a quick guide to warn fans or potential buyers of Dior Homme of fakes and educate them on how to protect themselves from fakes. At the end, there is a short list of Ebay sellers I can tell from my own experience are legit sellers of authentic Dior Homme.
Unfortunately, Ebay and other online auction services are currently flooded by cheap fake clothing labelled Dior Homme and designed to look more or less like actual Dior Homme products. A lot are straight copies of actual Dior Homme products and it will be more or less hard to tell if it is a fake from a quick glance on the pictures posted on Ebay.
There are bad fakes and better fakes around but no fake will give you the fit, style and feel Dior Homme by Hedi Slimane has become famous for. On the pictures, fakes might look more or less like the real thing. Most new Asian knock-offs even copy all the tags to a very good amount of similarity. But in the real world, the quality, fit and workmanship does not compare. After all, these are just cheap knockoffs from China while Hedi Slimane is famous for having brought couture-like tailoring back to menswear. This simply cannot be achieved by doing cheap knock-offs
In your own interest, please do not buy Dior Homme fakes. You will receive an by far inferior product that simply is not worth its price (even at the lower prices they are offered at). You can be prosecuted for infringing property rights when the item is stopped by customs. And any support to the Asian sellers of fakes will make the Dior Homme brand less desirable. Plus, IMHO, wearing fake Dior Homme just makes no sense as Dior Homme, other than other famous brand, is at all not about showing off the label or the brand but about almost secretly enjoying the fit and finish and tailoring of the product, an experience a cheap knock off will never be able to achieve.
I will not elaborate her on how to tell the difference between a fake an authentic item by the certain small but important design, cut, finishing or label detail as this will only help the Asians to improve their garbage on these key points to fool even more buyers.
A good hint to spot fake Dior Homme on Ebay, though, is, as always, to look closely at your seller.
Unfortunately, one indication is that the seller is coming from, or his items are located in, Asia, especially Hong Kong or China. I am sorry to have to say that, but there are only very few sellers from there who sell authentic Dior Homme. And these very few sell only very few items and only occasionally. Truth to be told, I have only come across one high-volume seller from Asia on Ebay who carries authentic Dior Homme. That is modasupply (formerly known as Diabro). But he does not sell DH at ridiculously low prices, his prices most of the time rather reflect the actual store prices.

So, if you see a high volume seller from Hong Kong or China who lists a lot of Dior Homme items, especially the same type of garment, at the same time or over a period of time and who has very low starting prices or buy it now prices, you can be almost 100% sure that you will be getting a fake Dior Homme item.
Also, a good indication for fake Dior Homme is that a seller specifically refuses to ship to Italy or has special conditions for shipping there. Italy is the country that has the most strict customs regulations and controlls to hinder fakes to enter the country because most luxury products (incl. DH) are made in Italy and the China fakes destroy their jobs. So a seller who does not ship to Italy actually admits that he is afraid of his fakes being cought up at customs.

Don’t let yourself be fooled by the super high positive feedback or even powerseller status some of these Asian sellers sometimes have. These sellers sell a lot of fakes of all different brands all over the world. And obviously there are quite a few people around that like fake stuff and give positive feedback for it. Shame on them! And shame on Ebay who does not stop them from perusing their website to spread fake stuff all over the world!
Also, don’t get fooled by their strangely phrased authenticity statements like this one coming from one of the most notorious and therefore obviously most "happy" (hint!) DH fake seller on Ebay right now:
“I sell factory liquidations in great discounts. All items are authentic. However they may have minor difference to the original on cutting and details.”
Dior Homme does not do factory liquidations whatsoever. Period. The only place Dior gets rid of its overstock items is through a very low number of outlets (none of them are located in China, though!) and the yearly press sales in Paris. Also, Dior is financed well and is still is produced in very few numbers so there is no need for them to do “factory liquidations”.
Of course, the fake sellers know that their Asian location makes a lot of buyers suspicious. So they try to get around that by opening Europe based accounts (like UK, Italy or France). In the end, you will still end up getting the item shipped from Asia. So if you are suspicious about whether a seller is legit, ask him where he ships from. Therefore, another indication of a seller of fake items is someone with relatively low feedback who suddenly starts listing a lot of Dior Homme items, especially of the same style in different sizes.
You have to know that getting ahold of authentic Dior Homme items at a price as low as to enable a seller to make a profit on Ebay by selling considerably below 50% of retail is very difficult if not impossible. Dior sells only to authorized dealers and the price for those dealers is so high that they simply cannot afford to sell their stuff cheap on Ebay and pay Ebay fees etc. So if someone sells Dior Homme on Ebay at prices considerably below 50% of the retail prices you have to be suspicious if he does it for volume or for a profit (other than the usual private seller who gets rid of his unwanted garments).
Unfortunately, I have never seen as much fake Dior Homme around as in the last few months. So be careful. I do not want to sound discriminating. But be extremely careful if your seller is located in, ships from, or got his stuff from Asia, especially China, and sells at a price considerably below than 50% of retail.
Having that said, during my 5 years of following the Dior Homme brand as a fashion fan, regular buyer and bargain hunter on Ebay, I think it is safe to state that the following Ebay sellers (in alphabetical order) are safe to buy from if you only want authentic Dior Homme. They have been around long, sell authentic Dior Homme and I have never seen them listing a fake DH item so far:

I am not sure if Ebay rules allow to name sellers that sell fakes. But I think it should be in Ebay's best interest to do so as Ebay's (at least official) guideline is to fight fakes on Ebay. Anyways, I will be posting a separate guide of sellers who clearly sold fake Dior Homme in the past.. So please check there.
