Buyer Beware!
Trying to find a digital camera? Maybe to take pictures of your E-bay items you'd like to list? or just to have in your car for those kodak moments?
Well, watch out, because if you are looking on E-bay, you have just introduced yourself to the equivelent of E-bays "Used Car Salesmen".
These guys are unscrupulous. They will use lines like, "We deal with clearing houses, or liquidation houses" ,"and these items May be returns, or floor samples, and may be missing some accessories."We can not guarantee their working condition"."We do not have the means to test them, or the time".
What does it take, a few batteries, and five minutes?
Yet, even though they may have a low start bid, look at their inflated shipping and handling fees.
I have purchased (two) myself, and recieved a piece of junk both times, on cameras that I was led to believe, at least worked.
Yes, they did say "As Is" in the refund policy section, but not a word about their actual condition in the desription.
I guess that the first time it was "shame on you", but the second time it was "shame on me".
What Im trying to say is, just beware, and if you find a camera, and the seller seems vague,or reluctant to tell you about the condition of the camera, Kiss him or her goodbye!
A good E-bayer will tell you if it's a parts or repair camera.
