Most of us think of a library as a bunch of wooden or metal shelves holding a whole grundle of books that collect dust, get old and mildew-smelling, and that we need to protect from grubby little peanut-buttery fingers.  (I have over 1,000 paper and ink books on shelves and in storage!) Well, not so anymore!  Welcome to the 21st Century!

Having a Comprehensive Library of Books; Vintage, Antique, or Brand New, is a Simple Matter of Digital Magic!

I have been collecting all sorts of digital books for years now and I store them on my computer hard drive in a neat little file that I have titled
"Fran's Library".
Out of this file, I take the classic fairy tales and kiddie stories and put them into a file called "Grandma's Library".

When the grandkids come to visit, they enjoy getting into "Grandma's library" and digging out The Wizard of OZ, or Alice in Wonderland.  They don't have to worry about grandma getting all bent out of shape over a bent spline or a chocolate stain on a pristine page.  And best of all, they have hundreds of books that they can choose from.

Of course, if you are one of those avid antique collectors who wants a real live, paper and cloth book to put on your shelf, then E-Books are probably not for you.  

But if you like the idea of having a full library of favorites available to you the moment you turn on your computer, E-Books are definitely for you!  When you purchase E-Books, you can carry an entire library of thousands of novels on a flash-drive!

And then, of course, I have the file on my computer that says "No kids allowed!"

These books are for adults only, and I have a few hundred of those, as well.  And this file is password protected. :)

There are "Green" Publishers who offer original novels in E-Book form, because it is far less costly to produce an E-Book and market it, without the huge cost of publishing paper and ink books.   Publishers like Resplendence Publishing, Ellora's Cave Publishing, Samhain Publishing, and many more offer Romance, Suspense, and Thrillers in E-Book form.  Many famous New York Publishers are now getting into the e-book craze, too! No trees cut down to make paper for millions of books that end up in the landfill after the pages are all dogeared and torn.  (Or maybe being recycled on eBay for 25 cents plus $4.00 SH)

With e-books, there are no SH fees! 

Instant gratification!  You can download and start reading the book in less than two minutes!

If you would like to purchase this book on eBay on a CD in pdf format, send me a message and I will happily put in on eBay in a fixed-price auction. Keep in mind that I would have to add the cost of eBay fees, PayPal fees, and the cost of making a CD and mailing it...which brings the total up by about $5.00.

So if you want to go "green" and read E-Books, just Google the publishers you want to check out, and go for it.  Of course, because eBay no longer allows digital delivery of items, you won't find any e-books here.

Note:  I closed down my eBay Store months ago because eBay was making it so expensive and difficult to sell on eBay unless you are one of the "big boys", it was costing me far more to maintain my eBay Store than I made off what I sold.  So if you want to find my online bookstore you will have to Google Fran's Books or Fran Lee's Romance
