It used to be so easy.

Jeans were jeans.  But not any more!

It's easy to dismiss "Designer Jeans" as a fashion trend, something for us to use to copy the celebrities who, seemingly, have an unending supply of pricey, fabulous, gorgeous jeans.  And it is that, but it's more.  "Designer Jeans" ARE better, and not just because they cost more, and not just because Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, or anyone else wears them.  What's the secret?  Simple:  fabric, cut, and details.  Remember when jeans came in Small, Medium, and Large?  They didn't fit then and they don't fit now.

True Religion Brand Jeans was established in December of 2002 to take denim in a refreshing new direction. The Los Angeles based premium denim company has become known for its intense attention to detail: from the fashion-forward seams, to the remarkable embroidery and innovative hand-sanded vintage washes, True Religion Brand Jeans has distinguished itself as a leader in the high-end denim market for men, women and kids. The line also includes a myriad of colored corduroy pants, skirts, shirts, shorts, jackets, blazers, hoodies, T-shirts and everything in between.

Husband and wife designers, Jeffrey and Kym Lubell have combined his love of classic rock and her love of hip-hop and R&B to produce a trendsetting line made to exceed consumers’ expectations of denim apparel. Magazines including Elle, Bazaar, InStyle, NY Times, Los Angeles Magazine, Lucky, GQ, Razor, DNR, Rolling Stones, Men’s Health, Vogue, Intl’ Publications, Teen People, Teen Vogue, Star, People, InTouch, Life & Style, and US Weekly have recently featured True Religion Brand Jeans apparel.

In addition, the brand has amassed an impressive list of celebrity enthusiasts including Kate Beckinsale, David Beckham, Sarah Chalke, Courteney Cox, Gary Dourdon, Faith Evans, Tom Ford, Jennifer Garner, Heather Graham, Kate Hudson, Angelina Jolie, Donna Karan, Heidi Klum, Nick Lachey, Jennifer Lopez, Freddie Ljungberg, Madonna, Chad Michael Murray, Gwyneth Paltrow, Brooke Shields, Jessica Simpson, Jada Pinkett Smith, Gwen Stefani, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Bruce Willis, the Wayans Bros., and the Cast of Desperate Housewives.

Denim powerhouse 7 For All Mankind LLC was founded in the fall of 2000 by entrepreneur Peter Koral of Koral Industries in Vernon, California. 7 For All Mankind was the first denim brand to launch the premium denim category into the United States contemporary market, offering women a luxury jean made from superior fabrics imported from Italy and Japan, processed with innovative treatments in new and advanced Los Angeles laundries, and fitted for an improved sexy and sophisticated fit.

7 For All Mankind’s premium jeans literally exploded onto the scene, quickly earning critical acclaim for its amazing fits, fabrics, and finishes. Sales for the first year reached a staggering $13 million, an unheard of figure in the denim market, and have continued to enjoy exponential growth each year with sales estimated to reach $250 million for 2005 for products sold in over 70 countries throughout the world.

The brand, famously dubbed “Sevens” by fashion editors and stylists, grew to fame in no small part because it was an instant favorite among Hollywood’s elite. 7 For All Mankind jeans continue to rank as a preferred jean among leading celebrities.

Jerome Dahan is the designer for Citizens Of Humanity and, chances are, you've been wearing a pair of his jeans for some time without knowing it. Dahan began his journey as a founder of Lucky Brand. He then worked alongside Adriano Goldschmied, before moving on to launch 7 For All Mankind, where his vision helped transform denim from a fashion basic to a designer phenomenon.

When Dahan teamed up with Michael Glasser to create Citizens, their clean approach to denim resulted in timeless basics, as well as styles cut from a different cloth: twill and corduroy. All are finished with the signature "h" back pocket.

Taking diversity beyond style, Citizens donates a portion of proceeds to Conservation International, who supports global biodiversity by demonstrating that human societies can live harmoniously with nature.

Habitual Jeans - Australian fashion editor Nicole Garrett & her fiancé Michael Colovos created this amazing new Designer Brand. Habitual jeans' subtle washes and tailored details such as welt pockets and bound buttonholes have become the overnight favorites of models like Gisele Bundchen and Carolyn Murphy. Through the use of inventive washes & tailored elements, this denim line has reached cult status. Italian buttons, gray ripstop cotton, heavy denim, pockets framed with triple-washed and blasted stitching, stonewashed and belt-sanded jeans, skirts and jackets and pristine white popcorn fleece. The "Habitual" waistline hits the top of the hipbone and the narrow leg is a stripped down, silhouette. The Habitual style is unique and stylish.

Earnest Sewn Jeans are not just jeans they are proud works of art. Inside each pair you will find a hand signature of who created them and when they were born. There are numerous magazines featuring lots of the styles of Ernest Sewn and most recently in Lucky magazine 2006!Celebrity Fans include Halle Berry, Jen Aniston, Charlize Theron, Heidi Klum, Claudia Schiffer, and more.
