Let's first talk about the definition for the word "inspire". The meaning of inspire is "to influence." Therefore, Designer inspired products are  made by people who were influenced by products by famous named brand designers. Usually this kind of products are 50% more or less similar to the original products.

I know there are many people selling designer inspired bags on eBay, and many people often get confused by designer inspired versus designer knockoffs, replica or fakes. Designer inspired products will NOT have name brand tags or prints that relate to the original.  Designer knockoffs, replica or fakes will have fake name brand tags, labels etc.  As a buyer, you need to be mindful for these products because some of them are really similar to the original.
