CURTAIN ROD TYPES
The
most commonly used types are Tension Rods, Extension Rods and
Projection Rods. They can all be obtained on eBay but if you are in a hurry you can find them at your local hardware
store such as Lowe's or Home Depot.
Projection Rods project
out into the room away from the window frame or trim. The are
formed metal with the ends bent back to "return" to the window.
Standard projections are 1 1/2", 2", 3" and 4 ".

Cafe Rods are
poles supported on matching brackets attached to both sides of the
window, trim or wall. They are fancier and capped at both ends
with decorative finials. Standard diameters are 7/16", 9/16" and
13/16". Cafe rod materials and finishes include wood, antique or
bright brass or painted metal.
All rods come with brackets and instructions to install with simple tools.
Heritage Lace Curtains and most other curtains as well incorporate either a 1 1/2" sewn rod pocket or tabs or rings across the top of each curtain component. Select the rod that best matches your budget and the look you wish to achieve.

Lace
products are easy to live with. Just follow the care instructions
below to keep your Lace looking it's best for a very long time.
All of our Heritage Lace products and our imported Lace products are
treated the same way.
- Lace Window Treatments - 100% Polyester. Machine wash warm and gentle. Do not bleach. Tumble dry until damp and then line dry
- Linen Table Textiles - 100% Cotton, 100% Polyviscose or a
Cotton/Polyviscose blend. Al are machine wash gentle and hang to
dry
- Macrame Lace Products - 33% Cotton, 67% Polyester. Machine wash warm and gentle. Do not bleach. Tumble dry until damp and then line dry
- Doilies, Placemats and Mantle Scarves - 100% Polyester.
Machine wash warm and gentle. Do not bleach. Tumble dry
until damp and then line dry.
