This gun is top quality. It sets itself above the rest because of its smooth trigger action and its shape which is contoured to fit the natural shape of your hand. This design reduces risk of repetive use strain. It is made from heavier weight, durable material. Own this and you won't go back to the inferior brands! I have been told that other, more delicate tagging guns will break when used for
heavier weight material. This is a great multi-purpose tagger. It is easy to operate as well. The dial on the side turns to allow the needle
to be loaded. You then turn it to lock it in. Test it by gently tugging on the dull part of the needle to see if it is locked in after turning it.
The barbs are easily loaded at the top of the gun. You just match the cross shape on the barb rack (strip) with that on the gun and squeeze the trigger.
The barb is then dispensed by a bar that resembles the lead in a pencil. It is what moves with the trigger action. The needle is hollowed out,
enabling the bar to push a single barb up to the needle point and through the fabric. The hollowed out needle with the sharp point protrudes
permanently unless removed, by turning the dial. You may choose to stash this needle in a safe place after removing it at the end of your day.
Another solution, however, would be to cover it with a plastic needle cover like the one displayed on the chord in the picture. Either way, be
careful. The point is sharp! You do not want to get that point, unless it is figuratively!
