A Guide to Sizes of the Delta Burke Lingerie Collection

Panties

Panty Size      8/1X         9/2X         10/3X         11-12/4X

Low Hip*        44-46”     48-50”        52-54”        54-56”

Always take into consideration the fabric content of the lingerie. For a good fitting pair of panties, at least 5% Spandex is recommended.

*Low-Hip: measure around the low part of your hips so that you include your behind or tummy area.

Bras

Bust - Measure around the fullest part of your bust, with a bra on. (example: bust is 45” at fullest)

Band - Measure under you bust, without a bra on, and add 3” to the measurement. (example, if you measure 37“, add 3” for band size 40)

Bust measurement minus band measurement equals Cup Size.

Cup sizes: 2” = B, 3” = C, 4” = D, 5” = DD, 6” = DDD

45” - 40” = 5” (example, bra size is 40DD)

Camisole Sets, Nighties, Chemises, Pajamas etc

Delta Burke

Most people remember Delta Burke for her role as Suzanne Sugarbaker in Designing Women, a TV sitcom from the late 1980’s. Towards the end of the 5th series, Delta had gradually yo-yoed back and forth but gained weight. The press hounded her and due to additional reasons, she left the show. She went on to star in other roles but her true fans are probably those that thank her for designing a plus size clothing and lingerie line, Delta Burke Design.

Delta also wrote a book named ’Delta Style’. On the front of the book she is quoted saying “Eve wasn’t a size 6 and neither am I”. As you read you realize that a full figured woman is as beautiful in image and spirit as any size 6 woman. You can learn about her struggles with weight and how she learned to deal with this throughout her life. She is very proud of her clothing line because now women of larger size can have clothes, nighties, bras, panties, chemises, camisoles and so much more, that look and feel good.
