If you have DSL or Cable internet and have a wireless router, you can use a wireless card to connect to the internet. On the far back left side of your laptop there are 2 slots, known as PCMCIA or CardBus slots. With the laptop off, insert the PCMCIA Wireless Card into one of these slots (preferably the top slot), then turn the computer on. Windows will automatically detect your Wireless Card and install the drivers for it. In the bottom right hand corner of your screen there is a System Tray area. In the System Tray there should be a Wireless Connection Icon, double click on the icon to bring up a window containing wireless connections in your area. Find your wireless connection and click on it (to make it highlighted), then hit the Connect button to connect.
