I bought this as a second battery for my Kodak DX7440 Digital camera. My camera only came with one Kodak KLIC-5000, and I wanted to ensure that I always had an extra battery for back-up situations.

PERFORMANCE
The Delkin KLIC-5001 gives reliable battery life. It actually lasts longer between charges than the Kodak original battery that came with my camera (I understand that the included battery was a 1350 mAH Li-ion, and that this battery is 1700 mAH). It is recommended to keep the battery out of cold weather (below 5 degrees celcius) as the extreme cold can affect battery life and performance. I have had no issues with performance of the Delkin KLIC-5001. Just charge for a short time, pop it into the camera, and it is ready to go!
CHARGING and COMPATIBILITY
The Delkin fits perfectly in my Kodak OEM wall-plug charger. I have had no issues with compatibility with the charger or fitting into the camera. Delkin has done a good job of making sure their products will work with consumer electronics of many brands. Charging with my wall-charger takes around 3 hours from completely discharged to completely charged. The charging time is about the same as my Kodak KLIC-5000, which is a lower powered battery at 1350 mAH.
BOTTOM LINE
These are reliable batteries that are said to recharge over 300 times before decreasing in performance. You save a lot over buying the original Kodak battery, but still get great power and performance. No problem with fitting into camera or recharger.
