Don'tbe afraid to look for bargains anywhere and everywhere.

you will be surprised at how easy it is tofind a great deal. you have to open your mind and eyes to the principal of everywhere is a potential shopping experience.

look and think outside the box. You can start by going to flea markets,swap meets, and garage sells. If you see an item that you like but think the color or fabric is wrong, ask yourself can i redo this? or will this work if i paint it? Alot of times the answer is YES. By doing some of this things yourself youve just saved yourself money. And over the course of an entire decorating project those dollars add up!

Try going to your fabric stores when they have their decorators fabric on sale or clearence. Sometimes it pays to go ahead and get the fabric even when your not sure how your going to use it. Even of you just make throw pillow out of the fabric you have just given your decor a lift.

Shop online for items that you would normally consider only going to showrooms for. Alot of the times the prices online are less expensive than the showrooms and thats even with shipping.

When your in a store dont be afraid to ask if you can purchase the floor model at

a discount. Many times they are without any serious

or visible flaw and the great things is most times they are

already assembled.

Or what about a swap party. Ask a few friends and family over and swap furniture or decor items

they no longer want. Just because your

mother is tired of that sofa table does not

mean you cant repaint it and breath new life into it. Just make sure that everyone agrees that they cant take the items back once they ve been given a

DECOR LIFT.
