~Unique Primitive Shelves and Vintage Mirrors for Your Cottage or Cabin~

"Decorating your Home can Actually Relieve Depression"

Not knowingly, alot of us are depressed or sad with no apparent reason. Over the years, I have learned through my own experiences that being depressed can be relieved just by the Outdoors, Fresh Air, and the Sunlight!

However, being from Pennsylvania, staying outdoors wasn't always the easiest solution. Cold days, no leaves, and darkened rooms only added to the problem. When I went to College in North Carolina, I tried to stay outside as much as possible...

Fresh Air, the Mountains, a Beautiful Lake, and a more tolerable temperature. But, the Dorm room was tiny. It had minimal light, no personality, and no color. Then, living in Mississippi in the Sweltering Heat and High Humidity didn't help either.

I had to move back to the Mountains!

Over time and a serious car accident in 2000, Depression was my Shadow.

Not being able to work, forced me to step into a Creative Mode that I hadn't tapped into since a child watching my mother oil paint the outdoors. She taught me the importance of Light and how you can utilize the Light to expand your Home and Create a Cozy Warm Ambience of Your Own!

Remembering this, I began creating Unique Mirror Shelves from Antiques n' Primitive Funiture, using Vintage Mirrors as well. My husband and I put our first one on Ebay in July of 2005 and it Sold quickly! Not realizing how many people we would touch through our Creativity and Passion, we made a few more...Sold! Each weekend we would make 3-4 pieces, which would all sell.

Now after Two Years, we have sold over 1000 Pieces worldwi  de. We have numberous Pieces in France, New Zealand, Austrailia, South Korea, Japan, and Canada.

I realized that by teaching my customers that they can enjoy the Outside "IN"...and by decorating with Colorful Shelves and Reflective Mirrors can actually change their lives!

By taking a Mirror Shelf that we have made, You are not only creating New Space for a Special Keepsake, but You are also bringing in more LIGHT into Your Home!  Light is so Important! Not Flourescent Lighting or a Simple Bulb, but Actual Natural Light.

If you Hang the Mirror adjacent to a Window or near a Patio Door...a Second Window is Created and you are Doubling your Light.

If you Hang your Mirror Shelf in your Garden Room or Breakfast Nook, hang it on the wall facing a Window or Door. Not only will it create a Larger Space visually, but  the Light will fill Your Home and Gracefully fill  You too!

One of the Best things my mom taught me is learning to look into the Mirrors reflection to the Outside! You can watch the Clouds whisp by, a Squirrel scale a tree, the birds at the Feeder, and the Sun Rise and so much more!

The Shelf will also be a focal point, holding something dear to your heart. It can be a Special Keepsake, an Old Piece of Earthenware, a Fresh Flower in a Bud Vase, an Aromatic Candle, or a Picture of two of your most favorite Loves in Your Life!

So, let the Sunshine in...bring the Outside "IN"and begin to see Your Home in a New Light!

Please Feel Free to Email me with Any Questions!!

A friend, Robin  Weathers!
