Periodically many designers (i.e. David Yurman, John Hardy, Mauboussin, Tiffany, Roberto Coin) and most others will make barely perceptible hallmark and other revisions in their items without changing the spirit and style of the particular item. This has happened with some hallmarks in the the David Yurman Crossover Collection (the addition of 1/4 on some or size number or hallmark tag etc) and creates some concerns even when the new and old "renditions" are still seen in stores, some stores having one or the other or both!. Changes occur periodically and raise authenticity questions and confusion although these changes are bonafide changes made by the designer and both styles are authentic, we thought it an appropriate time to address some minor design changes in the ever popular and classic David Yurman heart charm figaro bracelet. Even though these changes seem insignificant to most people, with some fakes circulating on eBay, some eBayers jump to conclusions even when these items are sold by reputable sellers with long term track records on eBay that do not and never would sell fakes for both ethical reasons as well as business reasons. Think about it, only a fly by night scam seller or possibly one around a bit longer would consider such an option.Who would jeopardize their business for a few hundred or even hundreds or thousands of dollars when their credibility and livelihood and reputation are on the line? Maybe a fly by night operator or one that has reincarnated with many different selling IDs and selling history but not someone proud of their track record and in for the long term with integrity. It takes years to get to that level and many covet their contacts etc. It really makes no sense!
David Yurman heart bracelets have had such a change. Both versions are in "circulation." It is very common from time to time for David Yurman and others to modify the placement of hallmarks or actual hallmarks ( changing to 925 instead of sterling silver is one example) and sometimes barely discernible design modification and, due to the triple fold increase in both gold and silver prices over the last year, a few of the items are either are lighter or redesigned into "petite" style. Let's face it, change is hard for many people and many are suspicious of change in general.
Although the David Yurman figaro heart bracelet looks the same to the naked eye with no significant design changes, this is the case with the ever popular and classic David Yurman heart charm figaro bracelet.and a few minor modifications are noted below. Both the newer and older version are still available and we have confirmed both to be authentic. Both versions are absolutely fine and the style virtually unchanged. No discernible differences at all in the main aspects of this bracelet, the figaro chain or the heart charm. Both are still in circulation and sold in stores.
