There are a good range of products out there, and quality varies quite a bit. You have to ask the right questions if you want to wind up with just the right pieces to put your dash together the way you had in mind.

You need to be especially careful with the fit dimensions on dash replacement panels, since they intrude into the dash console void space, and cannot interfere with climate control or other chassis electrical components, and they have to provide a vent path for heat dissipation from your head unit.

Be sure you can independently verify the fit dimensions for yourself. Measure your own cavity space and dash opening, and be ready to ask the seller specific dimensions to match these data to. Sellers like CARXTC have several products listed for vehicles which they do not fit. They are flat out wrong, and these sellers have no real technical expertise, just drop-shipping from manufacturers without testing the product. I speak from personal negative experience. Buyer beware. The seller may not know the merchandise.

Wire harness kits have a master plug - A universal 16-pin male plug attached to the Head Unit specific Male Plug. - A universal 16-pin female plug connects with the universal male, and the female plug is attached to the vehicle-specific female or male plug which originally connected to the factory stereo. This Vehicle plug will not route a wire for remote amplifier turn-on. If there is a power antenna on the vehicle, there is a wire to activate the antenna lift motor in the vehicle plug. The universal harness should route the blue wire to this pin. There is also a pink wire in most universal female-to-vehicle-plug harnesses. That wire is intended for Amplifier or Subwoofer remote turn-on. It should be routed to a location in the plug with no pin installed, this being intended for you to install a same-type pin in that socket, attached to the remote turn-on wire you routed from the rear of the vehicle. Again, beware of sellers like CARXTC who do not actually check the items they sell, because the wire routing may vary, and there is no explanation given with the product.
