In the past when an athlete meets an untimely passing, the vultures circle around the collectors market and tries to buy all items pertaining to the player so they can sell it for 10-20 times the dollar they pay for the items. It bothers me to see the items the buyer would not have bought unless they thought there would be a call for the items. In the past we have refrained from posting items of athletes like Dale Ernhardt Sr, and Cory Lidle and Cardinals player Pat Tillman who was killed in an attack in the military. I know theres alot of money to be made but to us it is like an attorney who chases ambulances and has no morals. In the past and future we will pull such items offline before they fall into the hands of the price gouger if they are in our auctions. If this is upsetting we appologize, but for the collectors who buy to resell just due to the chance of making alot of money for all of the wrong reasons we hope that the market returns to normal before the item arrives. We hope this fad passes and all athletes compete to a ripe old age. Thanks for listening.
