I would like to advise people who buy dansko clogs in e bay the danger you are having buying clogs who may be old and rotten by sitting in boxes for who know how long this detail translates that the sole of your clogs who are made of an inside plastic skeleton for fit, support and confort are covered by a sponge, rubbery, resistant material called polyuretane. this material after a while of no using the shoe, out of nowere can start to desintegrate like old bred or dried, brittle mudd. You need to be very cafefull and ASK THE SELLER ABOUT RETURN POLICY OF YOU NEW CLOGS IF THE SOLE START TO DESINTEGRATE LIKE OLD BREAD THE FIRST DAY YOU START USING IT. By appearance the clog will look just fine but the polyuretane will appear brittle, matte and with no shine unlike new rubber, this is the first indication that your dansko is not brand new but and old rotten clog who the sole would start to desintegrate. I cantacted dansko about this problem because it has happened to me 3 times and they recomend to buy a new pair ! they do not resole clogs, so there you go. ask before you buy ! hope this helps, dansko make pretty clogs models and is a pitty that you receive a $40- $50, $60 dollar shoe that would the sole desintegrate the first half hour you leave your house with your brand new by appearance clog. So when a seller said dansko discontinued model hard to find rare  he is telling you, I am selling you a old shoe and the polyuretane of the sole can colapsed on you the first day you used it. hope this really really help, again i has lost 3 pairs of dansko with desintegrating soles out of no were.
