ATTENTION ALL BUYERS and SELLERS:
STAR RATINGS / DSR FEEDBACKS are NOT Anonymous!
Don't believe ebay!
Star ratings are NOT anonymous!
If you, as buyer, rate your seller's stars poorly - the seller knows immediately - and his/her reputation is damaged!
The result of every star rating you post is visible on the Seller's Dashboard.

Did you know that ebay expects sellers to have 5 FIVE STAR ratings (or very close to 5 stars) in every category?
Did you know that ebay penalizes sellers who do not have super high star ratings?
Have you heard about Seller Dashboard? Seller Dashboard shows the seller the results of how he/she has been rated every single time a buyer posts feedback and rates stars!
Why do buyers post positive (often glowing) feedback - yet rate the seller's stars poorly? If the transaction was positive in every way - why do buyers hurt sellers? This is difficult to understand, especially since the buyer is doing great harm to the seller, and the seller knows how the buyer rated them.

Buyers - Please think carefully before you choose low star ratings for your sellers. You are often destroying a good seller's reputation and causing them to lose money by posting poor ratings (any rating below 5). Low star ratings also create poor working relationships and very bad situations for a seller who you may want to buy from again.
Would you work with someone again if you knew he/she rated you poorly? Of course not!
When the seller sees that he/she has been rated poorly, that seller will probably block the buyer from bidding/buying from them again.
Buyers: Please consider the serious consequences of choosing low star ratings for sellers. You can be doing extreme harm - especially to a conscientious, kind seller you enjoy working with.
