I just purchased very expensive David Yurman jewelry only to be shocked when I immediately knew the item was fake. The seller had great feedback, was a power seller, and guaranteed authenticity. PLEASE, don't even bother trying to save money! They are worthless and robbing you! Sellers know that the ONLY way to authenticate an item is to SEND it to CORPORATE offices, which takes weeks. The seller has a specified return policy, can't take "your word" and viola, they make lots of money on fake items and on RESTOCKING FEES for FAKE items because counterfeiting is time consuming and hard to prove. If the buyer leaves negative feedback and happens to be a seller on ebay, the seller of the counterfeit item has them by the b--l-. DON'T EVEN TRY TO BUY DAVID YURMAN FROM POWER SELLERS promising authenticity and that sell lots of items by David Yurman. All retailers (Gucci, Neiman Marcus, David Yurman, Cartier, etc.) have the SAME policy regarding fakes- they cannot authenticate in stores, corporate offices CONFISCATE fake items and you are left with nothing! The seller even tried to tell me that the store would replace the item with a real one if it's fake! They are crazy. PLEASE, I have bought so many counterfeits on ebay thinking that time it would be a great deal and it would be different. Items CANNOT sell for amounts up to half off when there is such a high demand and high cost for them. Don't buy into claims that they are older stock, or irregular pieces. I own MANY Yurman pieces I bought from authorized retailers, and have tried on lots more. I knew right away (TRUST ME) that the items were FAKE. If you buy Yurman on ebay, buy it from a seller that does not sell lots of Yurman pieces and are clearly private sellers. The ebay stores specializing in this stuff are thieves! They post pictures of real items, tell you it's the actual item, have beautiful auction pages- only to send you an item that was not pictured (they do throw in some pics of the actual fake pieces for fun). I OWN a ring the seller had a picture of online and it didn't even begin to do the actual, real, beauty justice. That should have been enough to tip me off. AND ANOTHER NOTE ON TIFFANY AND CO., LACOSTE, LONGCHAMP, etc.(EVERYTHING). If it's from Hong Kong- DON'T EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME because it's not worth a penny! China manufactures everything, and they know how to make good fakes (or actually bad ones but good to the novice). SAVE your money, time, and be smart- I thought I was, and the "power seller" proved to be a thief.
