Recently I bought 2 Authentic Don Ed Hardy items on ebay, at least they were offered as authentic items but unfortunately both of these items are counterfeit replicas and not even good ones on top of that.

In no way could I have thought that these were replicas as the price was ok but not even an extremely great deal for authentic Ed Hardy items.

Needless to say that I will sustain from buying any more Ed Hardy on ebay as the sellers will not even take the time to respond to my emails once they have received their payments.  Having now learned how to spot fakes I have seen a bunch of items out there that are being offered as the real deal but they have the obvious fake faded colors (great to change in pictures just by photo shopping, colors will be made brighter in the pictures) and the fake tags.

Be aware that Ed Hardy items are extremely bright in colors. If you receive an items that does not have this bright color palette you might have received a cheap replica. Also check out the tags on these items. The Ed Hardy site as well as a lot of sites that show fakes and real items are out there, so take the time to google these before you purchase anything off of ebay.

Also note that items that come from Asia could be (but not necessarily have to be) fakes. I received a pair of shoes that are very porr in quality with the print uneven and missing print parts, these are either Ed Hardy rejects or also fakes....but either way they are not worth the price paid for.

Unfortunately in most cases you might never know if your received what you paid for as there are some really great manufactured counterfeits out there. To make sure you get what you paid for go to the Ed Hardy site (they offer some great Sales on their items) or visit one of their stores if you have one around.

Ebay is definitely not the way to purchases these items! Sorry to say! I learned this the hard way....
