I am writing this guide to tell you of my experience with DOBA so that you can decide for yourself if you want to do business with them.  I did a search for dropshipping companies and found DOBA.  I signed up for their free 7 day membership.  I used their service and listed items on ebay.  I found the markup from DOBA on the items to be low.  If you can't have a 40% markup on the products you sell it is a waste of time, you will make more money working for a fast food restaurant.  A couple of days after I signed up I received a telephone call from DOBA offering me a 15 month membership to their service for $390.  That sounded good only $26 a month.  So like an idiot I said yes.  The next day I really started looking at the DOBA and did not like what I saw.  I could buy products cheaper from Overstock . Com and Amazon.com than from DOBA, and that was at retail prices.  I researched the company online and found a lot of negative information inside and outside of ebay.  It is also important to understand the only way to cancel your account is by phone.  I called them to cancel my membership.  I made this call within the 7 day 'free' membership time.  I was told that since I bought their 15 month subscription to their service it was too late.  After much talking I was allowed to cancel my account, but they would not refund my $390.  According to them I still will have access to them but no refund.  Another point to remember that anytime you talk to them they are recording your conversation so think before you speak.

I used my credit card to pay for the subscription and I have contacted my bank to dispute the charges.  After talking to my bank's representative she felt it was a fraudulent charge also.  So if you do use them research first and use a credit card only, so that you can have some recourse through your bank.  This company is located in Orem Utah.  I am also going to explore any remedies I have through the Utah State Dept of Commerce.

They sold me because they advertise that they are a certified ebay drop shipper.  I hope that ebay will take a close look at them because they are using the ebay logo and reputation to sell their service.  THIS COMPANY IS A MIDDLEMAN OPERATION THEY MAKE MONEY ON FEES AND PRODUCTS.  LOCATE A DROPSHIPPING COMPANY, PAY THEIR FEE, GET A FED TAX ID NUMBER AND START MAKING MONEY ON EBAY AS A REAL, PROFESSIONAL AUCTION BUSINESS.  As an update I did get my money refunded after going to the Better Business Bureau and the State consumer fraud department.
