My husband & I used DOBA for about 6 weeks until we decided they were an unreliable dropshipper. We'd often sell items that later we learned were discontinued or on backorder for several months. This does not work if you are a Powerseller and want to preserve your good reputation.
In addition to their inventory unreliability, we found most of their prices unreasonable and way above wholesale- leaving little or no profit margin for sellers.
Be forewarned about their billing practices, too! We hadn't used DOBA for 11 months and suddenly, out of the blue $649.50 was taken from our checking account (we'd never been told this would happen even though we signed up over the phone). BE SURE TO OFFICIALLY CANCEL YOUR ACCOUNT with them when you finally realize they are of no use to you! We recieved no invoice or warning in email prior to this transaction. We finally threatened to report them to the Atty General's office, the Better Business Bureau, and contact eBay before they would give us a refund (it is only a PARTIAL refund, but it's better than nothing).
Technically we would not call them a scam.....they just have very low, sneaky ethical practices. We can inderstand why there are so many complaints, and hope eBay decides to protect their sellers more by not recommending them (it reflects poorly on eBay).
