WITH DOBA YOU RUN THE RISK OF IDENTITY THEFT!

Nowadays it seems like every body has an affiliate program for their site, if you don't know how it works here is an visual explanation.
 Now doba offers to pay you $5 for each free trial someone directed from your site to theirs signs up for and EVEN if the person cancels the free trial you DON'T have to return the money.  I thought I was going to go do that and get my money back!  However, I felt that it was dishonest and I don't want to deal with them or their scamming ways.  Either way I decided to check out their requirements and I was shocked to find out that in an UNSECURED site (at least as of 18 January 2008) they request your tax id or SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER !!! How the hell do they protect you from IDENTITY THEFT?  Also if you make less than $25 a month you DON'T get paid and it DOESN'T rollover so you are working for free while doba makes sales.  I heard from other affiliates and customers that if you (the affiliate) recommends someone to their site and the customer signs up for the "free trial" during this time the customer receives calls from a doba representative offering a supposedly discounted yearly subscription. Well the chances of you getting a commission are slim to more likely NONE since DOBA sealed the deal not YOU.

I wonder how many people would you have to refer in order to pay for restoring you identity?

I CONTACTED DOBA AND THEY CHANGED THEIR SITE TO A MORE SECURE ONE.
