INTRODUCTION:
Please read this. It would take you a few minutes but this would be so much worthed to know why you shouldn't sell iPhone/Anything expensive on eBay. I'm tired. There are bunch of people selling iPhones on eBay. The competition is high and the price gets lower. This is only 1% of the problem. I find it frustating when there are FRAUD EBAYERS, usually 0 - 5 feedbacks, and only a few days old. These people bid on your auction on the last second and do not pay for it. I bet they are people who are selling iPhones on eBay too. They do not want people to buy iPhones from anybody except from them. Then you would have to wait 7 days to get your final value fee back and ask eBay for your insertion fee. THIS IS NOT OVER YET. IF YOU RELIST IT IMMEDIATELY, YOU WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE REFUND ON INSERTION FEE.

________________
Requirements for receiving an Insertion Fee credit
Fixed Price and Store Inventory listings qualify as long as they are single item quantity and resulted in an unpaid item. The seller has to file an unpaid item dispute before relisting.
WHICH MEANS YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR AT LEAST 14 DAYS (=336 HOURS = 20.160 MINUTES =1.209.600 SECONDS)
_______________
NOTE THAT TO OPEN AN UNPAID ITEM DISPUTE, YOU HAVE TO WAIT 7 DAYS AFTER THE AUCTION ENDS. THEN WAIT ANOTHER 7 DAYS TO CLOSE THE CASE AND GET FINAL VALUE
So basically what eBay is doing is that, they are holding your item till the price of your item falls and you would end up getting nothing and the high eBay fees even kills you more.
BODY :
DID I WAIT 14 DAYS TO GET THE INSERTION FEE BACK?
NO, BUT WORSE.
_________1ST DAY
I emailed eBay what happened and told them that this fraud guy (mezioka) has a FAKE ADDRESS (asdqa asdaqa asdqa 12130), 1 DAY OLD ACCOUNT, 0 FEEDBACKS. and I kindly told them that something has to be changed. I requested for my full refund on insertion fee and final value fee. I asked them why would I wait 14 days over something which is not my fault?
_________2ND DAY
eBay Cust Service Jenny P. replied. I know most customer service wants to get everything overwith. But she was terrible. She didn't even answer my question. She just went ahead telling me the Unpaid item dispute process, and copy paste everything from her note, because I bet there are many complaints about unpaid item and they just want it to get it over fast. LISTEN, I KNOW EXACTLY HOW THE UNPAID ITEM DISPUTE WORKS. I read them like 10 times now.
_________2ND DAY
I replied to eBay. I told them I had a question that they didn't answer and told them to read my message carefully.
_________3RD DAY
FOR GOD'S SAKE, THEY REPLIED AGAIN WITHOUT ANY ANSWER AND ONLY REPLIED WITH THE COPY PASTE UNPAID ITEM PROCESS WHICH I HAVE READ MILLION OF TIMES. I WAS STRESSED AND DRANK SOME COKE.
_________3RD DAY
Coke wouldn't do it either. I started getting angry. I told them that I DO NOT WANT A COPY PASTE ANSWER. and yes, THAT WAS MY FIRST SENTENCE. I would have to end up each sentence with READ ON.
Oh eBay, do you call this customer service or what? I better talk to robots if you only reply with copy paste answer. Like paypal robot customer service, AT LEAST THEY ARE BETTER. SHE EVEN LOOKS PRETTY. https://www.paypal-virtualchat.com/
_________4TH DAY
FINALLY they credited me for the insertion fee. Dale V was kind enough to read everything through and understand the problem. BUT for the final value fee, I would still have to go to the unpaid item dispute process. I don't care as long as I can relist my iPhone as fast as possible.
DID I ACTUALLY RELIST?
Hell no, I would sell on craigslist or somewhere else, or I would use the iPhone myself. It would be the same if you relist it. There are many people bidding and it is so unprofessional to cancel each bids and ban the 0 feedback buyers. SO CHILDISH. SO CHILDISH. I'm selling my iPhone tomorrow to somebody from craigslist. no ebay fees, no paypal fees, no efrauds, no nothing, done.
WHAT IS THE SOLUTION? :
There are no solutions. I know it is eSucks. Even if you put buyer requirements to only allow buyers having paypal account that would be enough. People can make paypal account & eBay account in minutes. You cannot set buyer requirement for feedbacks say under 10, or 9, or 1. you can only restrict buyers who have feedbacks from -1, to -5. THAT SUCKS. THAT SUCKS. You can cancel each bids and ban each buyers but that wouldn't stop them from bidding on the last second. I would love to give a second chance offer but the second highest bidder is FRAUD TOO. eFrauds eSucks eLot. eBay should do something about this or sellers would stop selling.
CONCLUSION :
You would strive and pull your nerves to death to get eBay to read your problems. their customer service is mediocre and should improve.I personally think they should give each customer personal attention. now about the frauds : eBay can stop these frauds, they can. I bet they eCan. They can stop these buyers by banning IP address or Mac address or note which sellers are doing this and ban them from the network. that would help a lot. But the first thing they should do is that they should let people to sell with more buyer restrictions. like at least 20 feedbacks or whatever. They can apply this for items valuing over a certain value. or do whatever to resolve this problem.. somethings gotta change.
Sincerely,
Leonard
