Hello im writing this guide about bidding. Bidding is like gambling or drinking. If you are not careful you will over do it. Don't get me wrong I love to do both. But I found out it does not take long to over do it. I love to bid against the other guy. It is just fun. There is lots of times I just bid because I can. I know I won't win that item but I just like to run up and try to win. Lots of times I give to much for a item. But I get a rush just bidding against someone. Them sellers love me I bid on 25 or 30 items at a time. And lots of times they even email me to tell me about more item for auction. But I am what you would call a bidaholic. I really don't want the item but I want to win. It is like playing a game we all like to win. So my advice is just go to items like you want and bid the max you want to give and if you win you win. You will get a email if you win and also don't worrie about it you will receive a bill. Sometimes I do that on a six day auction but as soon as that little square pops up at the lower right that says you have been out bid (ebay toolbar) I have to throw on a couple of bids. But what really what ticks me of is when I want a item real bad and I watch it real close. Like keep clicking that little refresh button and what happens? Somebody throws a bid in in the last 2 seconds. Here I am trying to get my poor overloaded pc to get back to make a last stitch effort to win. Just to find out I lost. Now thats gambling. So I found out if you really want that item bid the absolute max you will give. Say if auction starts at 99 cents a lot of mine start at 1 cent don't bid $2.00 because that just wastes time. Like my auctions I hope I can make more than a penny on a 1928-G RED SEAL NOTE. But I do list items like that I know I will at least get spending value. But I like to see bids on my items it is like a hunter going hunting. What fun is it say I start my items out at $ 45.00 and receive one bid? None so that is why I start all my auctions at one cent no reserve so even the little guy can bid on them. I have sold 1929 national bank notes for start at one cent no reserve and have had as many as 30 bids on them. Reserve what is that? You know what that is that is a joke. Why would anyone want to hide the real start price? Ebay should outlaw that. I was going to bid on a part for my 97 GMC. So I thought I had found a good reasonable start price. Come to find out bam a reserve you have not met the reserve. That is so lame this guy had a item start bid at $10.00 I thought that was fair. But I looked at bid history 10 bids at $10.00 still not met reserve. If I was that scared to auction a item I would just set buy now price and forget it. It is same difference but at least you know what they want for item. If I can start a item that is worth $60.00 for one cent with no reserve then why can't he? See I have great feedback and great service money back guarantee. That is why I can and the other guy is scared he hides behind a reserve. But you go to my store http://stores.ebay.com/DONNAS-COINSKEEPER-STORE and if I ever have a hidden reserve or have a auction starting out higher than 99 cents with no reserve I will give it to you for free and free shipping. This applies to auction style sales not store items. Lets see more ebay sellers get up to that challenge. So some auctions I might not make a killing but I will build customers and that is what will keep me going. I love to watch all tose bidders fight over my items. It maybe like me just want to win. So as long as they are bidders that will bid I will continue to have auctions. Also when someone bids on my items for one cent they get to see my store. I can loose a little to have good customers. So bid max on what you want and bid little bids on what you really don't want. And lets try to get rid of all reserve auctions. Its like playing the lotto bid responsable. Thanks for your time I sit around and get to thinking and so I just type it. Please vote on this guide and vist my ebay store http://stores.ebay.com/DONNAS-COINSKEEPER-STORE Thanks Donna
