DO NOT PURCHASE CHI IRONS ON eBAY OR ANY OTHER ONLINE WEBSITE!!!! I cannot stress this enough!! Many people who purchase CHI irons online do so because they want to save a few dollars. What they don't realize is that Farouk Systems NEVER offers irons, hair dryers, shampoos, or any other product for online sale. Sellers who claim to be an authorized seller of Farouk Systems but are selling the CHI iron and other items online are NOT authorized sellers and are not telling the truth! 

99% of the time, you are bidding on and purchasing a COUNTERFEIT iron. Yes! A COUNTERFEIT IRON!! Not only are these irons fake, but they are not made of the same quality or workmanship of authentic, genuine Farouk Systems' products. The top complaints of counterfeit irons are that the plates melt and burn the user's hair, they work for a little while but then stop working for no reason (or never worked at all), they don't heat up properly, etc.

If you buy an iron, or any other Farouk Systems' product online, you will NOT receive a warranty. Because Farouk Systems cannot guarantee the authenticity, quality or workmanship of products purchased online, they do not offer a warranty on irons and other products purchased online, nor will they honor it. Although you may think you are getting a great deal on a CHI iron, you are not in the least. Sellers who claim their irons come with a one-year manufacturer's warranty are lying!!

Please only purchase your CHI iron from an authorized retailer or distributor. Do NOT bid on irons sold online!
