I have had the diaper genie, and I hated it. I bought it used and it stunk. I stuck it outside for DAYS and the smell never left, so I ended up throwing it away and NEVER used it!! I did buy the Diaper Champ later and we LOVE it. We have one of those sented stick up in the bottom, so it never smells! and when my son was first born, we used wal mart bags, and now that he is bigger we use garbage bags. We LOVE it!!! And its cheep to use AND we don't have to empty it that often!! Which is great because its upstairs. Oh and we have a Dog and he doesn't even know that its there, so no messes.
