Merry meet all

i have been reading through some of the posts and many of the items are of the modern day panic of the path that Witchcraft seems to bring to mind to those whom are venturing to this new path of faith

We have heard the termonology of names that are have come from time itself and mystified many with things that seem to be a core of what we are .

Hereditary witch This I have heard time and again , as if it’s a gift that proves more than history and self belief of the craft can give to you .. Although coming from generations of witch’s and practicing knowing and belief in the faith will of course enrich your life work on the path , as the bos is shared from the practicing of one family to the next . Most can only claim their hereditary back to the bos of Gerald Gardner , so that as time comes there can be documented hereditary factors . Yet we as wicca, believe that being born into a family that practices witchcraft , does not automatically make one a witch . We believe this is a personal decision to practice and the heart finds the belief that is yours. Not being born into the path , but to live and be at heart and soul with what you believe.

I have sort of covered this with my early posting , as this was wording that the christian church decided was the path of the witch , However its black magick of the magician , a witch can not would not ever cast any form of the craft that would bring back the three fold law to her/himself as this then would break the code of the Wiccan Rede which we all follow .

empathy A term that seems to be taken by many and should be , Empathy is the feeling of another’s pain and confusion , We as witch’s all have this ability as our craft sharpens for it’s a form of devinations , that help give us the knowledge of things that occur around us . At times its an over used wording of a gift as many will take the empathic name and use it as a ways to hide behind others pain , there for never having to be able to deal with the inner child that cries with in . 0

High Magick is the use of tools that have been cleansed and charged with the intent of the craft , using consecrated altar items for casting of spells with much ceremonial ritual .

Low Magick is not something that is casting in the black arts , but something that Is done with out ceremonial tools , . Is the intent of the witch drawing her own powers with simple tools as herbs , crystals much like the kitchen witch what is on hand and the enchantment of the gifts from with in and mother earth .

Oujia Board , or Witch Board is also called the speaking board . This is a divination tool that has been used for centuries . Many are scared of such a board , as they have used this as a game so have scared themselves with the movement of the board to answer their questions . If you test your own ability to move items you will find that when you cup your palms togeather the heat vibrates between your hands ... This we call the psychic energy of your own ka . As children we have our friends take the oujia out and light our candles and with our senses heightened call it to speak to us .... the high energy of children and their wide minded beliefs of what is to occur ................ of course makes it happen . Then we become afraid of the ancients that whisper to us . In most of these cases , if you think back on the event that occured you will know you left the gate open and the fear that you generated stays with you .

To close this event and know we are all children of the path , our ancients walk with us , we will then know that they mean no harm , and our own imaginations have made them seem to be the haunt that we of course expect . To know that displaced ancients are just that and invite them to leave and find the peace they need , or to pass the information to the proper place that they need it to go ............. is to ask ... Is to believe , that it can be done , just as you believed they can haunt you ..

Maybe some of the wording you have heard out there and the fears that they seem to waken in the newness of   your interest in wicca .. . this might help some .  

There are no goblins  ,  demonology ,  evil casting in  the nature of the  path , there is understanding , sharing , learning  .. .listening and  with  trust of  the mother 's hand taking our own forward to  being more in tune with what she wishes us to learn of her  and the earth that she with the God  have allowed us to learn from
