I am a Shoe collector that focuses mostly on Exclusive shoes from Jordans To Air Maxs To Bapes.
I am a member of both ISS and NT and if you are questioning a shoe and would like my help or the help of ISS/NT just send me a message. I will help you in anyway I can and will post on ISS to double check the authenticity of your item/item you are bidding on.
I would like to share what I know about Dia de Los Meurtos Dunks or Day of the Dead Dunks:
Fakes are getting harder and harder to spot these especially but like all fakes theres always a flaw! and no matter what fakes are crappier quality shoes and will fall apart easier and faster.
Ways to spot fake Dia de Meutros Dunks are:
1. The lace colours. Both Mexico and Canada release came with black laces as primary colours. The Canada release also came with white laces and the Mexico release came with orange laces. This is not a sure way to tell the shoes are fake but it is useful and relavent information.
2. The primary and pretty much the only way to tell that these dunks are fake is the monster spitting the ghost ON THE RIGHT SHOE (EXTERNAL SIDE). He is ONLY on the external side of the right shoe and not on the left shoe.

notice the monster is only on one side? Fakes have the monster on both sides. WATCH OUT FOR SELLERS THAT JUST FLIP THEIR PICTURES MAKESURE YOU GET A PICTURE WITH THERE TAG AND BOTH SHOES IN THE SAME PICTURE. Better safe then sorry!
3. The final way is the embroidery on the back where the nike is. Fake ones have really sketchy stitching and the thread is loose.
Hopfully this guide helps for all you new Sneaker Heads that are just starting to collect Exclusive shoes.
Things to note are always: Colour, Shape if you look at half the fake jordans they're always deformed in some way. REAL JORDANS will NEVER be deformed. and last look always at details. compare to pictures of authentic shoes provided on www.issforums.com or www.niketalk.com or even from nikes website especially if there new releases.
