Cut your Cinnamon Rolls without smashing them (before baking).....
This is just the easiest simplest way to keep the shape of your cinnamon rolls before baking them.
- Roll out your cinnamon rolls accordingly (In a log fashion)
- Take a length of unflavored dental floss about 24" long
- Wrap the ends of the floss around your fingers
- Place the middle part of the floss around your cinnamon roll...right where you want to make a cut
- Crossing your hands in opposite directions, over the cinnamon roll, to make a "cut" with the floss
- Place each cut piece on your baking sheet
- Repeat steps 3-6 until all the dough is cut
- Bake according to directions...Enjoy!
Another way to shorten your time, in making cinnamon rolls, is to let your bread machine do all the mixing, rising and punching for you! Just set it according to your booklet instructions....it's usually the "dough" setting.
