The curved shower curtain rods are great, however it seems harder to keep water in the shower or tub. Typical shower curtains dont seem to be wide enough to allow for the extra width of the curved rod. Not a big enough problem for me, after using a curved shower curtain rod in a hotel, I'm ready to buy one for home.
