Do you have knot-holes in your wood? Maybe the wood trim around your house, that bees have drilled out, or wood that you would like to use for hardwood floors but have holes in it? Well, I have a cure for that problem, no need to replace or stress about it. Measure the average holes, smallest & biggest. Purchase some dowel's (cylinder of wood) the size of the holes that need repairing. Cut dowel the depth of the hole, and tap gently into holes. Once you've repaired all holes, take a cigarette butt or small tipped sponge, and dip in a stain the color of the wood or the color you plan to use. Once dipped, rub in a circular motion around the dowel & wood. Use a rag to wipe excess off, but still in a circular motion. Use the type of stain appropriate for your project. This will cure any knot-holes you have and will give you that hardwood effect. Lot's of construction worker's use this technique, save's time, & money!
