One of the best ways to go on a cruise cheap is to check out auction sites that liquidate empty cabins.  I just got back from a 7 night Hawaiian cruise that cost me $510.00 per person that included airfare, port taxes, and fees, from Los Angeles.  The site I got this from is one of many that get rid of the excess empty cabins, (ebay has this also, but be careful of inflated taxes and fees, always ask before you bid how much more the additional taxes and fees are going to be).  The trick is, you have to be able to go with very little notice, anywhere from a week to a month.  If you figure out the cost of food for two for a week, eating out every meal, you will find that the cost of the trip can actually be less than what you spend for food.  The same thing can be said about timeshare rentals, for as little as $200.00 a week you can get a fully stocked condo to stay in, just fill the fridge and enjoy your time off!  Travel can be had by anyone on the cheap if you look hard enough, and have a little patience.

Don't ever pay more than $75 per day per person for a cruise, unless it's high end accomaditations, you can always get a better deal than that.
