What do you do with Barbies, that have been bedraggled, combed, and played with by little girls, and passed on without clothes in yard sales, etc. These Barbies can become collector items, when rescued and adoped.

With the abundance of crochet patterns, your adopted Barbie, or Ken, can turn into Storybook characters, Southern Belles, Medevial queens and kings, or even a copy of modern day people.  I love the crochet patterns so many sellers have on ebay, and have purchased quite a few, including plastic canvas and crochet patterns for home furnishings, and rooms for Barbies to live in.  Crocheting Barbie clothes is also a wonderful project to teach young girls the art of crochet, and knitting.  Where to find reasonably priced patterns, anywhere on ebay, where there are crochet and knit patterns, I like the l-stop-shop, but there are lots of  wonderful shops to buy from, check it out.
