Crispy Chicken Strips
1 cup flour1 cup bread crumbs
2.5 Tbsp. grated Parmesan Cheese
3/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
.5 tsp. salt
1 cup buttermilk
1=3/4 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips.
Oil for deep frying.
Directions
In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the first six ingredients. In a bowl whisk egg and buttermilk. Dip chicken strips at a time in buttermilk mixture, then place in a bag, seal and shake.In an electric skillet, heat oil to 375 degrees. Fry chicken for 2-3 minutes on each side or until meat thermometer reads 170 degrees.
Let cool and serve.
