I am an avid scrapbooker who recently recieved a Cricut for Christmas. Oh my goodness, does it save a lot of money and time. I used to buy alphabet stickers for my page titles but not anymore. With all the cartridges, you have many different styles to choose from in a variety of sizes. I can also use any paper I want, so I don't have to search for that "perfect" color/script of stickers. I can use paper I already have on hand. You are also not set on a 6"x12" (or 12"x12" depending on which Cricut you have) sheet of paper. You can use any scraps for a few letters or for the Basic Shapes or Doodlecharms cartridges. So you have so many combinations to use!! I use a sticker machine to stick most of my die cuts to my page (which is very useful for the smaller dies). Just playing around with the different settings I came up with several ideas for my next several pages. It's so easy.
Not to mention now Provo Craft has just released the Cricut Design Studio software which allows you to hook up the Cricut to your computer and preview the ENTIRE Cricut library, which I'll be getting my hands on as soon as possible!! The software allows you to see the shape and size of the die you want to make, flip and rotate it, and weld letters and shapes together to make whole new designs.
If you are a scrapper or a crafter, this is definitely a must-have!!
