Got a Zen V for my daughter, and she loved it, so I got another for my son. After six months the screens were dead on both! Now they both sit on my desk, for without the screen it's sure hard to find the songs you want. I don't know how roughly they were treated by the kids, but they didn't seem to remember any serious drops or rough handling.
A very disappointing end to a really cool little player. (It even looks like the new Ipod nano designers borrowed some of their ideas from the Zen V!)
