Logo Design
I once heard it said that a good logo is like an illustration of the business. So, if a logo is an illustration of your business why would you want to illustrate it with some crummy FREE logo or a bad design you do your self? You put a lot of hard work into your business and your logo should portray that. I would always reccomend that you chose a creative graphic artist to help you with your design. That was my one and only shameless self promotion plug.
What a Good Logo Should Do
As I said before you should always hire a professional to help you with any of your grapic needs, but especially your logo. You don't have to pick me, but please pick someone. There are a lot of good graphic artists on eBay. When looking at listings make sure to check out the samples. If the samples look like they were made with premade logo software then they probably were. This is something you want to avoid. Some other things to look at are:
Before you talk to a graphic designer take a look around the web or in magazines and find some logos and ideas you like. You wo wouldn't get your haircut without an idea of what you want would you? Then save you and your designer some time and look around. Your designer will love you if you can find some samples that you like and explain what it is you like from each design.
Feel free to message me if you have any questions about logos or designs!

What a Good Logo Should Do
- Help promote the business in the market place
- Explain the company in a single glance
- Help attract customers
- Be easily recognizable as a mark of your company

- Number or initial designs- This is how many design the artist plans to make
- Number of revisions- This is the number of time the artist "tweak" or redo the image based on your comments
- Past clients- Ask if you can see some of the artists work on the market place
- Feedback- See what his customers are saying about his work
- Auction Layout- If an artist can't take the time to create a professional looking template why would they take time for you?
