I have seen a lot of eBay listings for cracked cymbols. Some lisintgs indicate that it might be an "easy fix" or that the Cymbal can be repaired. A cymbal is made from a special alloy and cannot be welded or brazed as the heat from these processes harden the metal to the point where it will shatter with the least little impact.
I've added a picture of a cymbal I tried to fix. The first attempt was to TIG weld the crack. The TIG weld seemed to work well except the crack would reappear as soon as the weld cooled. I then tried to carefully braze the crack. I added a little bronz filler rod as I went. It fixed the crack however it cause a lot of distortion in the metal and hardened it to the point it shattered.
Small cracks perpendicular to the edge can be stopped from futher cracking by drilling a hole at the end of the crack but that's about it and I wouldn't call it repaired.
