Counterfeit Victoria Secret PINK Clothing

As an avid Victoria Secret fan, and more recently in the past few years the PINK collection, I am starting to stumble across a lot of listings that are counterfeit.  I'm saddened to see this merchandise being sold as the real thing, and to unsuspecting buyers.  Below I have my opinion, and what I know about the products.

A few things to watch out for:

• Look at the item itself-- Is it something you've never seen before, a color you didn't know existed?  For example I'm seeing pants supposedly from last years Varsity line being listed.  The varsity pants didn't come in a flare cut, but yet these are appearing.  If it's a recent item, check the VS website for colors etc.  They may have the answer you are looking for.
• Look at the detail--Is there something that doesn't look right.  The signature dog logo looks funny, or is facing a different direction.  Often that is the only sign you may see in the auction that it may be counterfeit.
• Don't be fooled by the clothing tags--These can and are being made to look like the orginals as well.
• Look at the size--As far back as my knowledge goes, and it's pretty far, VS has NEVER made the PINK items in a size XL.  Their shirts and pants are XS-L, and in the past they have also done S/M and M/L etc, but never XL.
