In the last week I purchased Be Delicious from two different sellers and both were counterfeit. Fortunately, both sellers provided refunds promptly. Still was very frustrating dealing with the waste of time and money having to send the items back.
Both items were for the 3.4 oz eau de parfum and "NIB".
Here are the red flags:
- The cellophane of the package was loose, not taut.
- The sticker on the top portion of the bottle did not lay flat due to air bubble underneath it.
- The bottle had rough seams in both sides.
- The bottle top felt like plastic and had rough edges and some dinks.
- The press button at the top of the bottle was slightly depressed making it out of alignment with the bottle top. The authentic item has a smooth transition.
- The tube of the spray pump is much wider than the authentic product and has a large spring inside at the top of the pump. The authentic product has no visible spring.
- The contents contained small, black specks floating inside (similar to pepper flakes).
- The glass was distorted. This can be seen my looking into the bottle from the side.
- The spray release nozzle was positioned at the top of the oval opening and with a small gap at the bottom of the oval opening. The authentic product's nozzle is positioned in the center of the oval and there is no gap in the oval opening.
- The contents smelled bad.
Buyer Beware!
