If you are familiar with AFFLICTION clothing you know
that this is some of the coolest clothes out there!
I already own a lot of their clothes, I have their boots, shirts, jeans and the Shredded leather jacket.
When I compared some of the jeans they sent me with some of the ones
I had previously bought from eBay I realized that the ones I bought online were all counterfeit!!!!
These fakes are impressive, they have the same skull buttons,
skull rivets, same zippers, same inside silk screened image of the skulls, etc.
I called my contact at Affliction and verified a few things.
Here are some things to look for....
* All Affliction jeans are MADE IN THE USA and should be labeled as such.
(Affliction Jackets and Boots are made in China)
* Affliction jeans are also SHIPPED from the USA, NEVER CHINA or ASIA.

* The "Affliction" logo found on the inside of the back of the jeans is ALWAYS
embroidered and not silk screened.
The color of the embroidery will usually match the stitch color of jeans.
If they are "Red Label Premium" then the logo will be red,
if the stitching is orange the label is orange, if blue then blue, etc.
However I have found certain designs where this is not always true so this is not
concrete, check for inconsistencies by looking at the real jeans at the Affliction website
or at a local store.

* Affliction jeans come with a metal dog tag necklace pendent on a black string.
The string is like a shoe string that resembles leather.

(genuine on left, fake on right)
* Affliction jeans include a silk screened sample patch of the inside of
the leg pattern, this should be tied with the same black string that the
necklace is, and never twine or other cheap string.
The material should be a fine thread count and the printing should be crisp and not smudged.

* Affliction price tag cards are embossed with gold foil (for denim killers) and red foil for "Red Label Premium".
The fakes have a black and white printed card.
Another thing to keep in mind is that these clothes are well made and custom tailored.
If you find a new pair of $300 jeans on eBay for $100 then you should be suspicious and ask for DETAILED photos.
However the best suggestion is simply NOT to buy your Affliction clothes from ANYONE except authorized resellers like BUCKLE or better yet
directly from http://www.afflictionclothingstore.com
If you already own Affliction clothing, remember to always wash them
INSIDE OUT, on delicate or hand wash warm, and tumble dry.
Always follow the label instructions.
Of course if you buy the counterfeits the ink might just wash off!!!!
Pass this information along to you friends and be cautious.
Most all of the Affliction items I have looked at on eBay right now
are all fakes - keep that in mind!!!
Blow are some examples of FAKE Afflictions jeans sold here on eBay:

Notice these Shredded Red Label jeans, the stitching is not red on the seams like it supposed to be,
and the skulls and fire almost look silk screened, but not quality like originals.

Notice these fake winged skull jeans, the tag is not embossed with the reflective gold foil
and they have not been white washed properly. They shouldn't look spotty.

I have been doing some research on the differences between the older models
of jeans and the newer versions.
All of the new versions of Affliction jeans feature an embroidered waistband logo
but it does appear that earlier jeans did in fact have a silk screened logo inside.
Bottom line is this, ask for detailed photos and do your research.
