The popular TUSCAN Mediterranean style Kitchen dishe pattern is not found only in heavy stoneware dishes.  Corelle produced in several Tuscan or Olde World inspired patterns. Chip and Break Resistant Corelle stacks easily taking little cupboard space.

Some patterns are BOLD, others subtle, and some in between just hinting at the Tuscan and Mediterranean decor. Scrolled rim patterns can work just as well as fruit and leaves all over patterns.  Some are a more modern take with a nod to the Olde World look.

What is the Tuscan look?  It  has nature inspired colors and handpainted lived in look. Think purple grapes, green leaves, antique/beige/faded or crackled look to solid color, look of tapestry, or thick scrolls, warm yellow based and nature inspired ~ like ripe golden pears or golden olive oil, a clear lake, orange-red hibiscus, luscious green olives, rich burgandy aged wine.  But golden ripe pears with pale blue is Tuscan too.

Search these pattern names on eBay or your favorite Corelle pattern site (mine is the MicrowaveCooking for One site) for current and retired patterns. Abundance ~ Set against an antiqued beige background, a still life of lush Autumn fruit gives the Abundance collection the look of Old World elegance.

Floral Grape ~ golden rim with 4 clusters of grapes between light blossoms and a few leaves

Fruit Alfresco ~ a Hand painted look, the dinner plate is covered completely with a large purple grape cluster on antiqued plate with green leaves just begging to be picked. The bread/dessert plate features 2 luscious ripe golden pears on soft green, the mug soft green with hanging bright red cherries.

Holly ~ golden band with green leaves with little red fruit

Mediterraneo ~ medium blue hand-painted type swirls on swirled edge. Same pattern is also called Oceanview.

Olive Branches ~ olive green leaves, small purple fruit around the rim of white plates

Rusticana ~ bold golden floral with gold, red, green flowers

Sangria ~ crackled gold background is the setting for beige, green leaves and grape clusters

Sunflowers ~ hand painted looking big, dark-medium yellow sunflowers with green leaves are around the rim on the dinner plates and all over the bread/dessert plates.

Thymeless Herbs ~ A center of the plate pattern, subtle olive green shades are soothing and inspiring. Stylishly placed sprigs of herbs are then encircled by graceful script. Green band on the rim.

Tuscan Vine ~ Vibrant bold colors rim the white plates. Ripe juicy grapes on the vine, on a golden field evoke the feel of a warm sunny day in a hillside vineyard.
