Hi all. My name is Paul and I recently bought copilot 6 for my phone on Ebay. The seller promptly sent the goods and over the bank holiday weekend, I had the time and energy to install the SD card into my phone. It installed but I couldn't activate it. On the monday I rang ALK who told me I had bought the Smartphone version and my phone apparently isnt a smartphone. The funny thing is the listing had a link to ALK's website and when you punch your details in there it says yes your phone is compatible... hoorah.

The point I am trying to make here, friends, is that there are people on here who are selling this software and not telling you which phone it is for. The chances are they got it for free with a contract and don't want it and don't know enough about it.

If in doubt ask the seller if it works with your model of phone. Tell him/her what phone you have and ask then if it doesn't work you can at least feel justified leaving negative feedback and asking for your money back.

Also, I've noticed there is a few people on here just selling the software disks only. That's because they've taken the SD card and are using it but dont require the disks. Again if the disks work with your phone you would need to buy a separate licence from ALK (which somehow ebayers neglect to mention). It tells you that in the manual (if you are lucky enough to get one).

I would recommend that you buy brand new and try not to buy something that has been used and deactivated. For all we know they could be still using it on another SD card in their phone.

Check to see if your phone require a GPS device. There are some sellers on here who sell it with this Bluetooth device. Some phones like mine have it built in but not all do.

To sumarise people just be wary that not every version of this software is guaranteed to work on your phone. IF IN DOUBT ASK THE SELLER.
