Yes, that is correct. All models have been discontinued and any on the market being sold as new right now is highly a clone unit.
This was in response to my message to CoolSat USA about this message I got today:
"buyers beware if anyone, site, eBay or other resources that try to sell you any CoolSat 4000, 5000, 6000, 8000 they are trying to sell you a 100% cloned product that later on will end up not working. Buyer Beware."
Note: This applies to the 4000, 5000, 6000, 8000 only. CoolSat has introduced new models, the current line is CoolSat 6100, 7000,8100.
Beware! If you buy a 4000, 5000, 6000, 8000 sold as new, it highly is a clone!
