Just in time for the 2006-07 NBA season, converse has announced the release of a new Dwayne Wade shoe, the Wade 1.3. The Wade 1.3 has be widely acclaimed by the sneaker enthusiast community as a great addition to the Wade shoe series as it improves on the overall performance of comfort of last years Converse Wade 2.0 Shoes.

According to the Converse's press release The new Converse WADE 1.3 shoe features a crocodile-embossed pattern finished off with white patent leather. The Wade 1.3 is significantly lighter than the old shoe meaning those who pick up a pair to play basketball in will notice a slight improvement in overall mobility and performance.

The initial launch of the shoe will match Wade's Miami heat jersey colors (White, Red, Black) but there are plans to roll out alternative colors through the end of the year. According to Converse the Wade 1.3 shoes will retail for $100 a pair at shoe retailers but you could probably find a better deal for the converse Wade 1.3's here on eBay.
