I collect Japanese Mini LP's. I have stopped purchasing these CDs all together on Ebay because of forgeries. You cannot even trust the seller telling you that the item ships from the US. I recently purchased E Pluribus Funk by Grand Funk. Seller was from New York.
When I received the Cd the envelope was from the Czech Republic. The CD was was in plain Grey paper, not even cardboard. No OBI strip, no artwork. Just some Japanese writing and a barcode. I don't even know if it was Grand Funk because it said nothing at all on the Cd in english.
Now I buy all my Mini Lp's direcetly from and on Amazon.com I have not received a bootleg Cd yet. There prices are a little high but you know you are getting a legit product. If I do buy from a seller on Amazon you are gaurenteed under there A to Z program. They give you your money back and they go after the seller.
I am starting to notice a lot of Bootleg CDs and DVDs on Ebay and do not buy from them for any reason.
Bootlegs are going to be the final nail in Ebays coffin because as long as they get their money it is up to you to prove other wise
