Over the past 10 years, purchasing Electronic equipment off of E-Bay has been more than a pleasure.  The way the search engines are set up, makes finding what I am looking for, such as Amateur Radio equipment, scanners, home entertainment, and etc.., couldn't be easier.  If you have an idea of the name of the item you are looking for, and the search engine doesn't recognize it, then you can do an advance search, which will usually render something.  Having a history of the individuals that you are buying from, gives one a sense of security.  If there is a problem, E-Bay is quick to go to the source, and find the problem.  Maintaining such a serious guard to protect buyers, helps too, if you are going to spend a lot of your hard earned money.  The ability to insure against such actions, makes the "would be" individuals think twice about a scam.  There are other sites, but E-Bay wins hands down.
