This should work for the majority of Bluetooth-capable cell phones/pdas/smartphones on the market at this time. First off, make sure your phone is capable of Bluetooth. Ok, now browse through your phone menus for Tools/Settings/Connections/Bluetooth (it may be in that order, or just one of those leading to another). Go into Setup to turn the bluetooth connection ON. Now you need to power on your headset and turn pairing mode on so the phone can find it. There are different ways to enable pairing mode on your headset. On some, you just hold the power button down while you turn it on until it begins to blink or change colors. With others, it may be a combination of holding two buttons down(Power button and one of the Volume buttons) If you just purchased the headset, do a quick check with the manual if you can't figure it out. If it did enable the pairing mode, you will now go into the Hands-free or Device option under the Bluetooth menu on your phone. One of them will have an option to Search For Devices. While the headset is in pairing mode, click this option.(Quick Tip: The headset limits the time it will stay in pairing mode to conserve battery life, so you've probably got about 3 minutes at most to search and connect)  It should show a progress bar(may be model specific) of how many devices it has found. Once it is complete, be sure to select the correct model of headset. No other devices should show up considering a device must be manually entered into pairing mode to be found. But once your device shows up, click Connect or Pair. An alert should ask you for a PIN or password to pair the device. It is default to 0000 . Once you've entered that, the device should be connected to your phone. Again, this should work for the majority of devices currently available. If not, check with your phone manual and headset manual for specific details with menus and headset pairing mode button combinations.
