The Lego collecting world is huge and one of the main driving forces are the characters, called minifigs.  So far, there are 166 different Lego Star Wars figures or variations to choose from.

I have compiled the following list with at least one corresponding set that they can be found in...hopefully this will help you in completing your collection. 

We will be compiling more lists of other Lego series for your use.

You can also find many of these on our site.  The minifigs below appear in more than one set and the sets referenced are just a sampling.  Many of the Minifigs listed can be found on eBay or Lugnet for reference just by typing in the set numbers.

UPDATE:

Since this list was compiled, Lego has release #6212 X-Wing Fighter which contains 6 Minifigs, the Unique one is Wedge Antilles in Pilot Uniform.  It also contains Pilot Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, Princess Leia (looks the same as 4504 Millenium Falcon version), Han Solo (looks the same as 4504 Millenium Falcon version) and Chewbacca (looks like the Reddish Brown version also found in 4504 Millenium Falcon).
