The past year I am like, a phone-addict. I loved to get new phones and learn their functions. I've experienced with many phones and finally end up with Nokia N80.

So here's my opinion on these phones: Sony Ericsson (w800i, w810i) Samsung(D807,T809,BlackJack), Motorola RAZR, Nokia(N73, N80)

First about Sony Ericsson phones. I've owned W800i and W810i which I believe SE has the best camera.

They have long battery life and great signal, although not as great as Nokia.

SE has very portable and unique design. When you see an SE phone from far away you know it's an SE.

The camera and applications load pretty fast (faster than Nokia).

It has bluetooth, cool downloadable game, memory card slot easy to take in and out and load pics.

The pictures and videos taken go right to the memory card.

It has many functions and features that are useful.

It has great walkman and speaker.

The only problem that may occur in SE phones is that the charger port might not take charge after long time of use.

Next is Samsung D807 and T809.

Slim and slider design is the Samsung stuff. Applicatoins and camera on these phones load fast enough.

However, sometimes the phone is locked to a specific network which causes you to unable to get connected to internet if you're with the different provider.

The battery and signal on these phones aren't very healthy.

However, T809 has rotating lens camera which is very easy to use. However, most Samsung cams have no flash.

Samsung phones don't break that easy. I've dropped mine many times and they work like new.

Samsung phones are not difficult to use since the menu is so simple, you'll be able to use them without reading the manual.

BUT pictures taken don't go directly to the memory.

Good thing: unlocking is very easy, hehe.

Samsung Blackjack: smart phone, great camera, longer battery, better signal, thin but big. Remember it's a smart phone, if you're not as smart as the phone don't get it.

Motorola (let's put RAZR as the main, I've had few Moto phones)

I think the concept of motorola is make THIN PHONES............ and that's it.

They are not full of useful functions, their batteries aren't long, their cameras aren't great.

I'm sorry, it's just my opinion. If you just want to get a thin phone, you can buy Motorola but don't expect to much on the functions.

Nokia (N73, N80 types of phones)

Nokia has strongest signal and healthiest battery.

I've owned an N73 and the battery ran 3 days without charging.

Nokia camera isn't bad at all, it even has flash and most have 3G communication with front camera.

Sony although has 3g, but their front camera can't take pictures.

However, Nokia isn't good with slim phones. They often make fat phones filled with features and still portable.

Nokia phones with open lid cameras often takes a few seconds to load. N80 applications and camera load faster than N73.

Comparing the front camera, N80 has night mode option which results in brighter taken images than N73 and you can take pictures in not so bright room which N73 doesn't have the ability.

N80 front camera video mode is not limited to 35 seconds like N73 does.

Nokia phones applications don't load as fast as Samsung nor Sony, but overall I like Nokia phones best.

SUMMARY:

Sony Ericsson phones newer models:
Great camera, bright flash, strong signal and battery life, small and great design, 3G(sometimes)

Samsung Slider phones:
Small, easy to use, fast load applications, camera has no flash, battery life and signal aren't strong.

Motorola:
     Thin and slim

Nokia phones:
Good camera, has flash, 3G(sometimes), front camera can take pictures, great battery life and signal, slow load applications.

Overall:

Phones for many function: Nokia or Sony Ericsson

Phones for handy and simple: Motorola and Samsung

Note from me:

Just my opinion that I'd like to share. Hope it would be helpful for the others in decision stage of getting a new phone.
